For security reasons, the Administrator password CANNOT be recovered if lost or forgotten. The program can be restored, but all data secured under the previous Administrator Password WILL BE LOST. There is NO WAY to recover this data without the Administrator password.
APPROVED Transactions will STILL BE AVAILABLE in Transaction Central, this affects only the data in your computer.
To reset the Password (and DELETE ALL TRANSACTION DATA IN YOUR PC)
1) Quit Pay@PC
2) Navigate to, and delete the file: (These files may be hidden, use Tools to view all files)
WINDOWS 2000 & XP C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AMSI\PAY@PC\Data\transaction.data
VISTA C:\Users\All Users\AppData\local\AMSI\PAY@PC\Data\transaction.data
3) Restart Pay@PC, and enter your new Administrator Password
4) Re-activate the software with your product key (label on manual cover)
5) Re-activate your Merchant Account (with your 5-digit Transaction Central Login MID and password) |
